Hotel Pick Up in Quito

Your private guide will pick you up directly from your hotel in Quito. We recommend an early start at 07:00 a.m. to make the most of your day and enjoy the best views before the afternoon clouds arrive.

Parque Nacional Cotopaxi

We drive south along the famous Avenue of the Volcanoes to reach Cotopaxi. We’ll explore the high-altitude páramo at 3,200 meters, where your guide will explain the volcano’s history.

Weather permitting, we stop at a panoramic viewpoint and visit Laguna Limpiopungo to see wild horses and the snow-capped peak reflected in the water.

Toachi Canyon

After leaving Cotopaxi, we continue through the highlands toward the western Andes. Along the way, we stop at Toachi Canyon. This giant crack in the earth was carved by volcanic flows and the Toachi River. It is a perfect spot for photos!

Laguna Quilotoa

Next, we arrive at the stunning Quilotoa crater. From the viewpoint, you can look down into the bright turquoise water of the volcanic lake. You will have time to enjoy the views, take photos, and explore the edge of the caldera.

Almuerzo ecuatoriano

Nos detenemos por un almuerzo ecuatoriano (incluido) con entrada, plato fuerte y una bebida. Por favor, indíquenos en su reserva si tiene alguna restricción alimentaria.

Regreso a Quito

After lunch, we drive you back to your hotel in Quito, typically arriving around 6:30 PM.

  • Heading elsewhere: If you are going to another destination, let our guide know. We can drop you off at a public transport point or arrange a private transfer.
