Our itinerary

Cycling Quito Tour

“From colonial domes to street art walls—this ride tells Quito’s story.”

Pick Up & Gear Up

We start by bringing all the necessary biking gear to your hotel at 07:30 or 08:30 AM.

We’ll meet up with everyone, check that you’re all set with your equipment, and go over the best route to join the bike tour. Once everyone is ready, we’ll head out and begin the ride.

Ride to the City Center

We’ll bike down Avenida Amazonas heading south, passing well-known places like El Ejido Park and the National Assembly with its famous mural.

Then we’ll continue to La Alameda Park and into Quito’s colonial center. Along the way, your guide will point out highlights like the Central Bank, San Blas Church, and La Basílica.

We’ll ride down Guayaquil Street to Plaza del Teatro, where we’ll stop for a short photo break.

Exploring the Historic Center

Next, we’ll bike a few blocks uphill to Plaza Grande, also called Independence Square. We’ll take a short break here to explore and learn about key landmarks like the Government Palace, City Hall, the Cathedral, and more. You’ll also see the famous Street of the Seven Crosses and the Archbishop’s Palace.

Panecillo and Beyond

After that, we’ll head to the base of El Panecillo, a hill with great views of the city. Depending on how everyone feels, we can continue to Parque Las Cuadras or take a more relaxed route. The ride will be adjusted to match the group’s fitness level.

Local Snack at La Ronda Street

We’ll make our way back along the same route, with a stop on the historic La Ronda Street. Here, you’ll get to enjoy a small traditional snack, an authentic taste of Quito’s local flavors in one of the city’s most charming streets.

Return and Drop off

After that, we’ll return to the hotel and conclude the tour, ending the day with great memories of Quito’s history, culture, and local flavors.
