Mindo Mountain Biking Tour

“Start in the highlands. End in the cloud forest. The road in between? Pure joy.”

Start and Pick Up

We start by picking you up from your hotel in Quito at 07:00 AM.

Drive to Nono

This is followed by a drive from Quito to the small town of Nono, located in the northwestern part of the city.

Bike through Cloud Forest

From Nono, we’ll ride through the Andes and into the lush cloud forest. Along the way, we’ll pass small villages, trout farms, and follow rivers with beautiful views.

Our first main stop is in Tandayapa, where we’ll start a gentle uphill ride toward the Bellavista Reserve.

Reach San Tadeo

After finishing the climb, we’ll bike about 8 more kilometers to the small town of San Tadeo, located on the edge of the Mindo-Nambillo cloud forest. This quiet village is known for its birdwatching, especially the many species of hummingbirds and tanagers found in the area. You’ll pass by family farms, tropical vegetation, and scenic mountain views.

Transfer to Mindo

Once we reach San Tadeo, we’ll end the ride, load the bikes into the vehicle, and continue to Mindo.

Ecuadorian Lunch

Once we arrive in Mindo, we can stop for lunch at a local restaurant. You can enjoy Ecuadorian food and have time some to rest.

If you have any dietary restrictions or preferences, please let us know in advance. We will be happy to accommodate you.

Explore Mindo with Optional Activity

Once in Mindo, depending on the time, you can choose an activity to enjoy, like visiting the butterfly garden, riding the tarabita (cable car), or zip-lining through the trees.

These activities are optional and not included in the tour price.
